Herman Hulst, head of Playstation Studios, just announced on Twitter that Dutch developer Nixxes Software has been acquired by Playstation. Nixxes is a PC-focused developer that had previously helped get Killzone: Shadowfall ready for Playstation 4, along with PC versions of the Tomb Raider games and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Exactly what this means for Playstation has yet to be determined, but considering they’re a PC-focused developer, we might be seeing more PC versions of other Playstation games in the future. Since Horizon: Zero Dawn and Days Gone have already been ported to Playstation, Nixxes may end up being Playstation’s PC porting house.
