Labor Day will see many workers having a well-deserved break from the usual nine to five, to celebrate the federal holiday.
Labor Day takes place on the first Monday of every September, and gives workers a well-earned day off. The federal holiday has been celebrated for more than 125 years and highlights the hard graft of workers from all walks of life. Given many have a day off on September 6, it would make sense to also enjoy some leisure activities with those closest to us, like seeing the latest blockbuster at the movie theater. However, with many stores closed due to the celebrations, movie fans will have to make sure their local multiplex is open and still showing films. Luckily, most movie theaters are open on Labor Day, and given the new releases coming out they will likely be busy places. Given the last 18 months has seen movie theaters closed at various points due to the coronavirus pandemic, many great movies which have previously been delayed are starting to hit the big screen.
