The District Attorney said the investigation is focused on who loaded the gun and what kind of ammunition was used.
Santa Fe County District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies said Tuesday that criminal charges could be filed in the shooting that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the movie Rust, according to the New York Times, as the investigation continues into Thursday’s incident, which also wounded director Joel Souza. Carmack-Altwies said it could take “weeks, if not months” before charges are brought forward in this case.
