Kick off Spooky Season in style with a full list of all the new Netflix horror movies and TV shows premiering in October 2021.
There’s nothing quite like nestling into your couch with a cozy sweater, your favorite pumpkin-themed drink, and a great scary movie. Luckily Netflix is offering a solid slate of new horror movies and shows to stream all throughout the month of October as part of their Netflix and Chills lineup. The slate includes a variety of different horror offerings. “There’s Someone Inside Your House” is of particular interest, as it hails from producers James Wan and Shawn Levy and follows a group of teens in a Midwestern town who are tormented by a masked killer. Directed by Patrick Bice of “Creep” fame, the film drops on Netflix on October 6 and promises “Scream”-like thrills. On the TV side of things, the highly anticipated third season of “Locke & Key” releases on October 22, and if you have kiddos in the home October 8 brings the animated series “A Tale Dark & Grimm.” And that’s not to mention all the existing horror content still streaming on Netflix like the excellent “Fear Street” trilogy and Mike Flanagan’s emotionally devastating limited series “Midnight Mass.” Check out the full list of new horror movies and shows on Netflix in October below.
