Police have confirmed actress Lindsey Pearlman has been found dead in the Hollywood Hills in Los Angeles, according to local media outlets. Tributes for the General Hospital actress have since begun appearing on social media. The 43-year-old actress’ death had been confirmed on Friday by LAPD authorities, according to an ABC7 News report. Pearlman had been reported as missing earlier in the week and police had asked for help from the public in finding her. Police said they were responding to a call for a death investigation at around 8:30 a.m. local time Friday in the area of Franklin Avenue and North Sierra Bonita Avenue. Authorities were able to confirm the person was Pearlman. The LAPD initially issued a press release and said that Pearlman had last been seen on February 13. Pearlman’s husband Vance Smith said this date was incorrect and said she had been seen on February 15 at 9 p.m. Since the news of her death, her husband, friends, fans and co-workers have begun posting tributes on social media.
