Electric cars’ price in India may become as affordable as petrol vehicles in the country within one year. The government is already heavily promoting green fuels.
The Minister said he is making all efforts to lower the prices of EVs in India. Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari said on Friday that all electric cars (EVs) in India would cost the same as petrol automobiles within a year. Further, the government is promoting ethanol created from crop residue as a substitute for petrol and diesel, stated Mr Gadkari. According to the minister, the government is already heavily promoting green fuels. Mr Gadkari also added, “Waterways are a less expensive form of transportation than roads, and they are expected to grow rapidly.
