Democrats selected Milwaukee as their 2020 convention host city, but nearly all in-person events were scrapped because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Republicans will formally nominate their 2024 presidential candidate in Milwaukee, GOP chairwoman Ronna McDaniel announced Friday, with the party tapping the largest city in the critical swing state of Wisconsin to host its next convention.
The convention’s dates have not been set, but it is expected to come before the Democratic convention.
