—The P-pop group Alamat has had a phenomenal 2022. Their anthem “ABKD” won “Pop Song of the Year for Cultural Relevance” at the 7th PPop Awards, while their collaboration with singer Iñigo Pascual for “Itodo Mo Beat Mo” scored the “Best Music Video” award at the 27th Asian Television Awards.
The collaboration was for the official music video of season 5 of the TV program “Coke Studio Philippines.” The beverage company’s Philippine arm also featured the P-pop group at the “Christmas Finds Its Way” show held at the Greenfield District Central Park in Mandaluyong City earlier this month.
The group’s members spoke with the Inquirer before they went onstage to perform for the audience.
