It was discovered that Google pulled support of Wear OS 2 from a few of its apps, including Google Maps. It has now restored support.
Update, December 2, 2022 (02:21 PM ET): A Google spokesperson has provided a statement to Android Authority clarifying the situation with Google Maps and Keep support on Wear OS 2. Here is the statement: Last week, Google Keep and Maps for Wear OS 2 devices were temporarily removed from the Play Store. Google engineers have since restored availability of the apps onto the Play Store. Just last month, the tech giant announced it was sunsetting Chrome browser support for Windows 7 and 8.
