MANILA , Philippines – Four toll road projects of San Miguel Corp. (SMC) units are currently undergoing preparation for detailed engineering design, according to the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB).
These are Skyway O&M Corp.’s Pasig River Expressway (PAREx), Northern Access Link Expressway (NALEx) and Southern Access Link Expressway (SALEx) and Manila Toll Expressway Systems Inc.’s South Luzon Expressway Toll Road 5 (SLEx-TR5).
Detailed engineering design refers to crafting of actual engineering designs and cost estimates, among others.
The 19.37-kilometer (km) PAREx project is a six-lane, elevated toll road passing through the Pasig River from Radial Road 10 in Manila and proposed South East Metro Manila Expressway at Circumferential Road 6. It has a project cost of P81.
