Niantic Takes Down Tweet Making Fun of Pokemon GO Remote Raid Outrage

Niantic deletes a recent social media post that allegedly makes fun of the fans and player base of its mobile title, Pokemon GO.
Niantic, the company behind the mobile title Pokemon GO, has recently deleted a Twitter post that supposedly made fun of its player base and community. Following the public outrage of Pokemon GO fans regarding the changes the company has made to a specific feature of the title, players have gone online to show their receipts of the deleted tweet and further discuss their thoughts about the topic.
Though Pokemon GO continues to host regular events for its community, the mobile title seems to have recently had a rough few months when it comes to its players’ opinions. The changes in the game’s Remote Raid feature that were just implemented by Niantic on April 6 sparked a lot of negative feedback from the players. Many community members have already been vocal about their dislike of the direction Niantic has taken when it comes to this specific feature, and the company’s response to the crowd seems to further fuel the ire of the Pokemon GO fanbase.
