With The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s new abilities, the old Sheikah slate runes are gone, but a fan has found a way to replicate Cryonis.
One Zelda fan has figured out a way to re-create the ice powers from Breath of the Wild in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. As Link once again needs to make his way around the kingdom of Hyrule in order to save it, he’s gathered a few new abilities and even a new arm. However, the powers that players had gathered in the first game are nowhere to be found, meaning that fans will have to use new tactics in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
This has led to some disappointment from players as the Sheikah slate runes were rather favored among Breath of the Wild fans, and they’ve been more or less discarded for similar yet different abilities such as Recall and Ultrahand. However, on the other side of things, the new features are very much adored by players since they’ve been enjoying their makeshift vehicles and rafts, and one fan has even managed to make a new version of Link’s ice powers.
