While Diablo 4 players can definitely pet the dog, there’s one thing they need to know before interacting with the innocent canines.
Diablo 4 players who are excited about petting a dog in the game might want to think twice about it. The fourth installment of the Diablo franchise is said to be much more brutal than its predecessor, but this particular interaction adds a different element of fun to the action RPG.
There seems to be a collective fascination among gamers about petting dogs in games. So much so that there’s even a Twitter account called @CanYouPetTheDog dedicated to this mechanic. Last February, it was confirmed via social media that Diablo 4 players could pet dogs in the game. However, instead of simply pressing E when they’re near the dog, they have to face it and pull up the emote wheel and select “Hello” to greet it. This will also prompt the dog to follow the character around.
