BioWare decides to terminate around 50 jobs from its current team, following recent layoffs in other companies owned by Electronic Arts.
BioWare is laying off around 50 employees. This happens amid the development of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf and a new Mass Effect game.
BioWare has been responsible for creating some of the best RPGs ever made. The company has created many popular franchises, like Mass Effect and Dragon Age, but it’s struggling to get the same level of success in recent years, as both Mass Effect: Andromeda and Anthem released to a mixed reaction from its fans.
Now, BioWare’s general manager Gary McKay revealed that around 50 roles at BioWare will be terminated, and the employees will be laid off or moved to other divisions of EA.
