In a matter of weeks, the grand prize has increased from $20 million to $145 million for the Monday, Aug. 7, drawing. Monday numbers were 6-13-20-35-54 and the Powerball was 22. Power Play was 2x. No one matched all five numbers plus the Powerball in the Saturday, Aug. 5, drawing for $124 million.
In case you’re wondering, the Saturday, Aug. 5, numbers were 18-42-44-62-65 and the Powerball was 23. Power Play was 2x. Even though the jackpot rolled over, there were some big winners. Three tickets matched five balls for $1 million prizes. Those tickets were purchased in Illinois, Indiana and New York.
