Gurman hints that the Pro models will sport a lighter and more durable titanium build than its predecessors
This Tuesday, Apple‘s “Wonderlust” event is expected to reveal the company’s next big steps, including a committed transition to USB-C for its accessories. Mark Gurman from Bloomberg dropped this and other tidbits on the latest MacRumors Show podcast. For years, Apple has been churning out various accessories with different types of charging ports. Remember the bulky 30-pin charger? Well, Gurman says the era of inconsistency is about to end. Apple is planning to make a seamless move to USB-C, much like the 2012 transition to the Lightning port.
