Some essential mods for Cyberpunk 2077 have started to work again after the release of the 2.0 update and the new Phantom Liberty DLC broke them a few days ago. This means that Cyberpunk 2077 may be jumping up in Steam charts, but PC gamers are still lacking access to several mods, which are only now slowly becoming active again.
While Phantom Liberty may have been the grand finale of CD Projekt Red’s redemption story after the disastrous launch of Cyberpunk 2077, the new update also caused a problem for PC gamers. CD Projekt Red automatically disabled all mods after the 2.0 update was launched. According to CDPR, this was done to prevent issues that could break the game due to incompatibilities with the new code.
