IDF spokesperson Avichay Adraee tweeted the military “is examining the reliability” of the claim that the Bibas family members are dead.
On Wednesday, Hamas said 10-month-old Kfir Bibas, 4-year-old Ariel Bibas and their mother Shiri Bibas were killed in an Israeli airstrike, according to multiple reports.
The IDF said representatives have talked to the Bibas family about the claim and are accompanying family members, but did not confirm the claims.
