Renner was run over by his PistenBully (a 14,330 lb snow plow) on January 1, 2023, by his home in Reno, NV near Lake Tahoe. The actor was helping out his nephew who was stuck in the snow when the plow began to roll away. When he attempted to get back into the vehicle, he was crushed beneath it. He was hospitalized for blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries.
“I have been exploring EVERY type of therapy since Jan 14th … everyday , countless hours of physical therapy, peptide injections, iv drips and pushes, stem cell and exosomes, red light / IR therapy, hyperbaric chamber 2.0 atmospheres, cold plunge, and the list goes on and on….,” the Hawkeye actor penned on Instagram on Nov.
