The game was supposed to tip off at 9 p.m. at University of Dayton Arena in Ohio, but shortly before 4:30 p.m., the school announced that the contest had been called off after at least three people were injured in the shooting.
“Due to the tragic events unfolding on UNLV’s campus, tonight’s men’s basketball contest between UNLV and the University of Dayton will not be played,” Dayton announced in a post on X.
