A 37-year-old “experienced” hiker was killed on a hike in the Pemigewasset Wilderness in New Hampshire’s White Mountains amid heavy wind, snow and frigid temperatures, the state’s Fish and Game Department announced on Thursday, following a multi-day rescue effort.
