Nikki Haley confronted in Chick-fil-A for "wasting millions" fighting Trump

A man confronted Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley on the campaign trial on Saturday, accusing her of “wasting” millions of dollars on a race she is unlikely to win.
Haley, a former U.N. ambassador, finished behind former President Donald Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in Monday’s Iowa caucuses. That came despite Haley’s campaign and a super PAC supporting her spending more on advertising in Iowa than her rivals.
Earlier this month, NBC News reported that Republican presidential candidates and outside groups had spent more than $100 million on advertising ahead of the caucuses. Haley’s campaign spent at least $4.6 million on ads in Iowa, while SFA Fund Inc., a super PAC supporting her, spent $25 million on ads in the state in 2023.
While Trump remains the overwhelming front-runner in the race for the Republican presidential nomination, Haley is hoping that New Hampshire’s primary rules that allow unaffiliated voters to participate in the contest will propel her to a stronger finish and establish her as the main alternative to Trump.
