Robert De Niro is pleased that former President Donald Trump was found guilty of all 34 counts in his hush-money case.
When Page Six caught up with the actor in New York City Thursday night at a Cinema Society screening of his new movie, “Ezra,” we asked how thrilled he was with the news.
“I’m always very weary. I don’t wanna get too excited about anything,” he told us, adding, “It’s as it should be. Justice has been served. That’s it.”
As for whether he thinks Trump could still win the 2024 presidential election in November, De Niro, 80, replied, “For me, it’s not over ’til it’s over.”
The longtime Trump critic went on to refer to the avidness of the newly convicted felon’s fans as “craziness.
