A new report says the Alien and Ghostbusters star is in talks for The Mandalorian and Grogu.
The Mandalorian and Grogu may have its first new cast member, and she’s a sci-fi legend. Sigourney Weaver, the star of Alien, Avatar, and Ghostbusters, is in talks to join the next Star Wars film, scheduled to hit theaters May 22, 2026.
The news was first reported by TheInSneider and a Lucasfilm representative could not be reached for comment. io9 sources, however, do believe the story to be accurate.
