At Computex 2024, AMD revealed its next-gen lineup of APUs under the “Strix Point” or “Ryzen AI 300” series branding, which are seen as some of the most revolutionary processor designs for the mobile segment, catering to the massive hype of AI PCs. While we have a dedicated post on the SKUs up, for a quick recap, the new Strix Point APUs feature the latest Zen 5 architecture along with RDNA 3 refresh which the company calls RDNA 3.5. It came with the revamped XDNA 2 AI engine as well which offers the highest TOPS of all NPUs released or coming out this year with 50 dedicated AI compute capabilities.
