Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon X SoCs have taken the industry by storm, and it’s no surprise that system integrators are rushing to feature the latest chips in their product lineup, given that the AI PC hype is stronger than ever.
Interestingly, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X SKUs have made their way into Linux, courtesy of TUXEDO Computers, who have disclosed that they are developing an ARM notebook using the Snapdragon X Elite SoC, and the firm showcased a prototype of the laptop at this year’s Computex.
While the firm hasn’t revealed details about the laptop, the description on the prototype revealed that it features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite X1E80100 CPU, which features a 12-core count along with the onboard Adreno GPU cores.
