AMD RDNA 4 “Radeon RX 8000” GPUs Reportedly Debut In 2025: Navi 48 At CES & Navi 44 In Q2

AMD is reportedly going to launch its next-gen RDNA 4 “Radeon RX 8000 GPUs, primarily the Navi 48 & Navi 44 chips, in the first half of 2025.

It’s been a while since we have seen an update from the Radeon side of things but it looks like AMD is going to stay calm until early 2025 which is when the RDNA 4 action begins. As per @Kepler_L2, it looks like the red team is targeting a 2025 release window for its next-gen graphics products based on the RDNA 4 architecture which includes two chips, the Navi 48 and the Navi 44.
According to Kepler, AMD is expected to introduce its mainstream Navi 48 GPUs at CES 2025 so we are looking at a Q1 launch window while the entry-tier Navi 44 GPUs will be launching in Q2 ’25. The AMD Navi 48 “Radeon RX 8000” GPUs are going to offer performance similar to Navi 31 chips & Navi 44 is going to be an entry-tier successor to the Navi 33 series which made its debut on the RX 7600 series cards.

The AMD Navi 48 “GFX1201” and Navi 44 “GFX1200” GPUs have already been spotted & confirmed within various LLVM and ROCm patches.
