We found the best prices on tickets for Childish Gambino’s ‘The New World Tour’ with Willow and Amaarae. He will perform at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Aug. 26-27; this may be his final tour.
Childish Gambino is adulting.
In May, the Grammy-winning 40-year-old rapper/actor/writer/director dropped his fourth official studio album “Atavista” and announced the sprawling ‘New World Tour’ that will take him to arenas all over North America including Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Monday, Aug. 26 and Tuesday, Aug. 27.
And, following the release of his next album “Bando Stone & The New World,” due out July 19 — which will be accompanied by an IMAX film with the same name sometime in the near future — Gambino aka Donald Glover is retiring from music.
“It really was just like, ‘Oh, it’s done,’” he told the New York Times, referring to his Hip-Hop/R&B career. “It’s not fulfilling. And I just felt like I didn’t need to build in this way anymore.”
The “Atlanta” star and creator is giving himself a proper send-off with “Bando Stone,” though.
“For this album, I really wanted to be able to play big rooms and have big, anthemic songs that fill those rooms, so that people feel a sense of togetherness.”
If you’re just now realizing this might be your last chance to see Gambino live in concert (and possibly first and only time to hear the Bando album IRL), it isn’t too late to grab last-minute tickets to see him these next few months.
As of now, tickets are available for all 35 of Gambino’s North American concerts.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets for any North American show was $52 before fees on Vivid Seats.
Based on our findings, other shows have seats going for anywhere from $58 before fees to $223 after fees.
