Gregg Berhalter Out as USMNT Head Coach: Report

Gregg Berhalter has reportedly been let go as the head coach of the US Men’s National Team.
Gregg Berhalter is reportedly being let go as the head coach of the United States Men’s National Soccer Team. Doug McIntyre of Fox Sports reported the news on Wednesday.
This news come a little more than a week after the U.S. team suffered an embarrassing group stage exit in the Copa America. It also comes on the heels of the 2026 World Cup which will be in North America.
Berhalter, 50, was hired by the USMNT in Dec. 2018 after being head coach of the Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer. He took over after the USMNT failed to qualify for the 2018 World Cup, and enjoyed immediate success at the helm.
Berhalter led the U.S. to the Round of 16 in the 2022 World Cup and was rehired last June for the 2026 World Cup cycle.
