At San Diego Comic-Con, Disney Plus’ Percy Jackson show announced that Daniel Diemer will play Tyson, Percy’s cyclops half-brother. (Based off Rick Riordan’s best-selling series of the same name)
The second season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians hasn’t started filming yet, but the San Diego Comic-Con panel revealed one big piece of casting news: Daniel Diemer (The Half of It) will join the cast as Percy’s cyclops half-brother Tyson. The character was previously played by Douglas Smith in the critically-panned 2013 adaptation of The Sea of Monsters.
