Debby Storm Tracker Live: Florida Braced for 30 Inches of Rain

Storm Debby has killed six people and could be set to break rainfall records in the region.
Storm Debby is expected to trigger unprecedented rainfall and flooding across northern Florida, costal Georgia and South Carolina and parts of North Carolina.
As much as 30 inches of rain could fall in some areas, with widespread rain of up to 20 inches.
Debby made landfall as a Category 1 hurricane on the Big Bend coast of Florida early Monday.
The community of Steinhatchee was the first to be hit by the storm, causing damaged homes and businesses and rising floodwaters.
The hurricane led to six fatalities and sweeping power outages across Florida and Georgia.
But the worst may be yet to come: experts say the storm system is expected to stall over the Southeast region.
Debby was downgraded to a tropical storm midday on Monday, but could lead to record rainfall.
Although Debby was classified as a Category 1, “It really is worthy of a Category 3 or 4 rating, if you want to talk about rainfall impacts”, said Jeff Masters, founder of Weather Underground, now with Yale Climate Connections.
