Fans are making Clueless jokes after Alicia Silverstone posted an unusual TikTok in which she took a bite of what some think is a form of deadly nightshade. In addition to receiving more than 9,000 comments on TikTok, the video reached viral fame on X (formerly known as Twitter), when a journalist shared the clip.
“OK, I’ve discovered something that I can’t figure out what it is and I need your help”, the actress told her followers in a TikTok video on August 19. She then revealed that she’d found a fruit “on the sidewalk” that she and her companions thought might be “a tomato.” Pointing the camera to the bushes that the fruit had clearly fallen off of, she expressed skepticism. “It’s definitely not because look at these leaves!” The Babysitters’ Club actress then bites into the fruit, musing, “I don’t think you’re supposed to eat this, but it tastes like a pepper.
