Some of the wildest collaborations between the Marvel and DC comics are returning to print for the first time since 1996. Launching on Oct. 8, DC Versus Marvel: The Amalgam Age Omnibus is a 25-issue compilation of some of the biggest brawls and weirdest mash-ups between the A-list roster of heroes from the two comic titans.
The DC Versus Marvel run began as a special crossover mini-series, with two issues published by Marvel and the other two published by DC. Readers originally voted on the winners of each issue by filling out ballots that were sent out to comic book stores in advance.
