AirPods are unquestionably among the most popular headphones in the world. It’s great that there’s so much variety in the Apple AirPods lineup, but the best model will always be the one that fits your budget and style.
This starts with the original AirPods (less expensive, launched in 2016) and AirPods Pro (more features, active noise cancelling), then extends to the AirPods Max (high-end audiophile). The most popular AirPods deal this month has been on entry-level AirPods, which are on sale at Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy. But I fully expect that to change now that Apple’s latest AirPods Pro earbuds model is down to $189.99, which is a great price for Apple’s latest model with a USB-C charging case. Plus, AirPods Max are on sale at a new all-time low of just $399, which is a huge $150 discount.
There are currently four excellent deals available on Apple’s various AirPods models. The best offer is on AirPods Pro, which are down to $189.99. That great price is within $10 of the all-time low for Apple’s updated model with a USB-C charging case. The difference this time around, however, is that the previous deal that was $10 cheaper was only available to Prime subscribers during Prime Day. The current sale, on the other hand, is available to anyone and everyone.
Also on sale are entry-level AirPods for $89.99, and AirPods Max, which are down to just $399 on sale. That’s the lowest price of 2024, and anything around $500 or lower is a good deal for AirPods Max.
Finally, we have a new all-time low price for Apple’s AirPods 3. This model rarely goes on sale with a decent discount, but you can pick up a pair on sale for $139.99.
The only thing to keep in mind right now is that Apple is expected to announce new Airpods Pro 3 and AirPods 4 at its big iPhone 16 event on September 9. That means now is a great opportunity to get the current-generation models with deep discounts. However, if you’re the type of person who needs the latest and greatest Apple gear, you should definitely wait until the new models are released in a few weeks.
