Police reportedly discovered a chilling connection while searching Gray’s home.
Authorities searching the home of Apalachee High School shooting suspect Colt Gray found documents in his room referencing the 2018 Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting, according to a new report.
The 14-year-old boy, who was charged for the murder of two students and two teachers, had writings in his bedroom that included references to the 2018 massacre that left 17 dead in Florida, law enforcement officials told CNN.
It remains unclear what aspects of the shooting Gray was allegedly reading or writing about, but the teen faces a similar fate as Parkland gunman Nikolas Cruz, who was sentenced to life in prison in 2022.
