Colin Farrell’s ‘Sugar’ Renewed For Season 2 By Apple TV+

Detective drama “Sugar,” starring and executive produced by Colin Farrell, was renewed for a second season by Apple TV+.
Detective-themed drama Sugar, starring and executive produced by Colin Farrell, has been greenlit for a second season by Apple TV+. Dropping on the streaming service last April with one episode per week, Farrell is featured as John Sugar, a private investigator who in season one was recruited by a wealthy movie producer to investigate the disappearance of his granddaughter.
The ensemble cast for the first season of Sugar also featured Kirby, Amy Ryan, James Cromwell, Anna Gunn, Dennis Boutsikaris, Nate Corddry, Sydney Chandler, and Alex Hernandez.
“It has been incredibly exciting to see audiences around the world embrace Sugar, and we are thrilled to return for a second season,” executive producers Audrey Chon and Simon Kinberg said in a statement.
