The former Florida Representative has been active on social media since his withdrawal as the Attorney General nominee.
Former Florida Representative Matt Gaetz has praised three Democratic Party members within 24 hours for their work across consumer rights, data protection and family planning.
Posting on X, formerly Twitter, Gaetz highlighted the work of Illinois Senator Tammy Duckworth to expand IVF insurance coverage to military personnel, while also praising California Representative Ro Khanna for saying he would work with the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
“Good pro-family concepts here!” Gaetz posted as he re-shared news of Duckworth’s plea to President-elect Donald Trump to back the legislation she is proposing.
The praise came despite Duckworth’s criticism of Trump’s cabinet picks, including Fox News host Pete Hegseth.
Gaetz himself was nominated to serve in the next Trump White House as Attorney General, but he withdrew from the process following questions over alleged sexual misconduct and investigations by the Department of Justice and the House Ethics Committee.
