If your Chromecast stopped working after last week’s outage, you’ll be happy to know that Google has finally released a fix.

According to Google, these will need to update their Google Home app to the latest version (3.30.1.6 for Android and 3.30.106 for iOS) to set up your Chromecast (2nd gen) or Chromecast Audio device again.
The catch is that the new update for the Google Home app roll out may take up to a few days to roll out to everyone, so even if the deployment starts today, not everyone will be able to download it right away.
