„The Lord of the Rings“ star Elijah Wood has become the latest member of the cast to discuss how, in spite of Peter Jackson’s trilogy of films becoming huge financial successes as well as cultural touchstones, no one in the cast received the kind of massive payday you would expect.
„Because we weren’t making one movie and then renegotiating a contract for the next, it wasn’t the sort of lucrative scenario that you could sort of rest easy for the rest of your life“, Wood told Business Insider.
