May 15 (UPI) — First lady Melania Trump is recovering well from surgery to treat a benign kidney condition, President Donald Trump said Tuesday.
“Our great First Lady is doing really well,” Trump said in a tweet . “Thank you for so much love and support!”

“The procedure was successful and there were no complications,” Grisham said. “The first lady looks forward to a full recovery so she can continue her work on behalf of children everywhere.”
Trump visited the first lady Monday afternoon.
Melania Trump is the first U. S. first lady to undergo a serious medical procedure while in the White House since Nancy Reagan had a mastectomy in October 1987.
