Amazon is gearing up for Monday’s Prime Day, which is taking a page from Black Friday in 2018 by running longer than just one day: 36 hours, to be exact. We don’t know exactly what will go on sale next week, but Amazon is currently teasing some of the deals shoppers can expect to snag.
First, the basics: Prime Day begins at noon PT / 3 p.m. ET Monday, July 16 and will run through the next day. To take advantage of the savings, you must be a Prime member; if you’re not, sign up now.
The most obvious way to save: buy an Amazon product. It’s already shaved $100 the touch-screen Echo Show and is offering discounts on Amazon subscription services like Amazon Music Unlimited, Kindle Unlimited, and Audible. We can expect more of that come July 16, so if you’ve been eyeing an Amazon Echo device, Kindle ereader, or Fire TV streamer, you’ll likely be pleased.
But what else is on tap? First up, if you’re at Whole Foods, Amazon says Prime members can snag an extra 10 percent off sale items. Just download the Whole Foods Market app and scan the Prime Code. Prime members with an Amazon Prime Rewards Visa can also get 10 percent back at Whole Foods Market on up to $400 in purchases.
Starting today, meanwhile, Amazon will provide sneak peeks of its Prime Day deals inside the Amazon app. Just tap the Prime Day banner or search “sneak peek.” Amazon will also offer Prime Day Launches, or products new to Amazon that will arrive on Monday.

Delivering seamless wireless connectivity on a single network, the system is easy to install and configure, looks great, and delivers solid throughput.
