The upcoming large-screen Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will pack a large 4000mAh battery, confirms a certification organization. Samsung could launch the flagship-class, productivity focused smartphone next month.
Brazil’s National Telecommunications Agency or ANATEL has just certified a battery pack. According to the certification, the battery boasts of 4,000 mAh capacity. Needless to mention, last year’s Galaxy Note 8, packed a slightly smaller 3,300 mAh battery. Also, the nominal voltage of the battery pack is 3.85V. Simple calculation will indicate the Note-class device will have 15.40Wh in their its battery.
Samsung may unveil the ninth iteration of its popular Galaxy Note series smartphone at Samsung’s Unpacked event. The event takes place on August 24 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Also, the company is expected to announce a few other Galaxy branded products, including the Galaxy smartwatch, which rumors indicate will ditch Samsung’s own Tizen OS for Google’s Wear OS. Interestingly, the South Korean tech giant has already begun taking pre-orders. In other words, the sale of Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will most likely commence on August 24 itself. Galaxy Note 9 will have a tall 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Display at Quad HD+ 1440 x 2960 resolution and an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Interestingly, Samsung’s in-house Exynos 9810 SoC will power the device in quite a few markets. In regions like the U. S., Samsung may embed Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 SoC. Also, the smartphone will ship in just one RAM and storage variant. However, apart from the 6GB/256GB variant, Samsung is rumored to be working on an 8GB/512GB version.
Being labeled as the smartphone for professionals, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will certainly ship with the company’s own, and significantly improved, Bixby 2.0 voice assistant along with Google Assistant. Also, multiple reports have already confirmed the Note-class device will pack the new S Pen. The company has packed some powerful hardware within the slim profile of the stylus. Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will ship with Android 8.1 Oreo OS with Samsung’s custom Experience UI on top. Samsung has put up banners announcing Galaxy Note 9 in South Korea. Tech insiders speculate the smartphone may have the same pricing as the Galaxy Note 8.
