But sources said the ending’s been changed with good reason.
The powerful film about Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Kailash Satyarthi and his efforts to rescue children from slavery around the world now includes a scene of one of the film’s child protagonists being reunited with his family.
The new version was shown at a splashy Cinema Society premiere at MoMA.
At the screening and a party afterward at the Viceroy were guests Edie Falco, Renée Fleming, Gina Gershon, Rachel Roy and Fern Mallis.
