The post-Thanksgiving weekend at the box office didn’t change much from the previous week, with Ralph Breaks the Internet, the sequel to Disney’s animated feature Wreck-It Ralph, continuing its strong run. With Christmas coming up, The Grinch received a big boost ahead of the holiday, too.
Like those holiday leftovers that taste just as good the next day, this weekend’s top ten movies in theaters were nearly all holdovers from last week’s Thanksgiving holiday box office, and Disney’s Ralph Breaks the Internet reigned supreme again.
The animated sequel to Wreck-It Ralph extended its winning streak another week, and is now on a pace similar to that of 2016’s Moana, which was released on the same week that year and went on to earn $248.
