Lenovo Legion Y740 and Y540 Laptops with Nvidia GeForce RTX GPUs unveiled at CES 2019

Lenovo has also updated its Legion T730 and T530 towers, and C730 and C530 cubes with the latest Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 GPUs.

At CES 2019, Lenovo has made a slew of announcements about its updated gaming PCs. The company has refreshed its Legion Y700 and Y500 series with the new Legion Y740 and Y540 laptops that now come with more memory and Nvidia’s latest Ray Tracing RTX graphics cards. Alongside the laptops, the company also updated its Legion T730 and T530 towers and C730 and C530 cubes to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPUs. The Legion Y740 comes in two variants. One of the variants comes with a 15.6-inch display and weighs 2.2 kg. It will be made available in the US in February starting at $1,749.99 (Rs 1,22,614 approx). The other variant of the Legion Y740 sports a 17.3-inch screen and weighs 2.85kg. It will also hit the shelves in February in the US at a starting price of $1,979.99 (Rs 1,38,788).
The refreshed Legion Y700 series from Lenovo comes with the Y740 laptop, which now features an overhauled design with updated looks. The laptop has also been upgraded with Nvidia’s new GeForce RTX 20 Series graphics cards and will ship with 32GB of RAM instead that is clocked at 2,666MHz. Additionally, it will also be available in a different configuration, which includes Corsair RAM sticks that are overclocked to 3200MHz, a Full HD screen with G-sync tech running at 144Hz, and a Dolby Vision 400 screen with 500 nits of brightness.
