During Google’s keynote at GDC 2019, they announced the Google Stadia. Stadia is a streaming service that will allow people to play big-name and high-end games without having to own the latest or greatest hardware, software, or fancy gadgets. You can read our rundown of the service here.
The keynote confirmed that Stadia will support most pre-existing gaming controllers from launch, which also explains why Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons will soon be supported in Chrome. The Xbox Adaptive Controller will also be included in the lineup.
Bryce Johnson, Inclusive Lead for Microsoft Devices, confirmed the inclusion on Twitter.
