Man arrested on murder charge in shooting at McDonald's in west Orange County

An Apopka teen was arrested on a murder charge Wednesday, accused of planning an armed robbery during which a man was fatally shot, an arrest affidavit shows.
An Apopka teen was arrested on a murder charge Wednesday, accused of planning an armed robbery during which a 19-year-old was fatally shot, an arrest affidavit shows.
Deon Justice, 19, was taken into custody on a first degree felony murder charge in connection with the death of Jamario Dixon, who was fatally shot April 25 in the parking lot of a McDonald’s near Pine Hills and Silver Star roads.
Text messages between Justice and Dixon the night of the shooting showed the two planned to meet so Dixon could sell Justice a gun, Detective Kevin Wilson said in a warrant affidavit.
Dixon’s brother told deputies the man then shot Dixon.
