Two sisters facing accusations last month that they sexually abused the same 16-year-old boy have pleaded guilty to a lesser charge in exchange for court supervision.
Andrea Sereno, 40 and her sister, Esmeralda Sereno, 41, were each charged with felony sexual abuse and ordered held on $50,000 bail last month when prosecutors accused them of carrying on a consensual sexual relationship with the teenager.

In separate hearings Tuesday afternoon at the Leighton Criminal Court Building, each sister pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of battery before Judge Susana Ortiz, who sentenced them to 12 months of court supervision.
