The Epic Games Store will apparently now pay back the difference if a game drops in price just after you bought it.
As the Epic Games Store continues to eat into Steam’s market share it’s quietly launched a new feature that’s impressively consumer-friendly: partial refunds for games bought just before a sale starts.
The new feature hasn’t been announced or confirmed by Epic itself, but was spotted by Studio Mayday founder Joshua Boggs in an email he received after purchasing a game.
“You recently placed orders from the Epic Games Store,” Epic’s email to Boggs says.
