Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley was confronted by protesters Saturday evening while dining at Salazar Restaurant and Bar in Over-the-Rhine with his parents and other family members.
Cranley left the encounter without speaking to protesters outside the restaurant.
“I was just wondering how long is this curfew going to last?” a protester in a video sent to the Enquirer asks the mayor.
Cranley ordered the curfew on May 30 after protests the night before, triggered by the May 25 death of George Floyd at the hands of Minnesota police, ended with property damage and looting.
In the video, Cranley says he hopes the curfew will end Sunday and that he was having dinner with his parents.
